Doctor Arquitecto por la Universidad Europea, su investigación se centra en los requisitos de la ecología sobre el proyecto arquitectónico y urbano, y trasciende paradigmas aceptados como el de la eficiencia energética. Ha participado en proyectos Europeos como EDUCATE (www.educate-sustainability.eu), o COST RELY TU 1401. Ha sido miembro de Comités Científicos y Técnicos en Congresos como JIU 2012, CONAMA 2012, IFOU 2014, DUAL ESNE 2015, o JIDA 2016.

 

Ejerce como arquitecto desde 2002 en COMBOlab junto a Eduardo Roig. Desde allí han colaborado con empresas públicas como la Subdireccion de Planeamiento Urbano del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, el COAM, el CSCAE; asociaciones como ASA y oficinas o empresas como IDOM-ACXT, ARUP, Aguirre Newman, Peter Eisenman o MVRDV. Su trabajo ha recibido premios en concursos públicos a nivel Internacional como IVIMA Berrocales (2007), EMV Ensanche de Vallecas (2009) Parco della Memoria (2007) y Europan 8 (2006).

 

Profesor acreditado por ANECA en 2015, ha impartido clases y conferencias en Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ES), IE School of Architecture, Syracuse University (IT) y Universidad Europea de Madrid; y ha realizado estancias en University of Nottingham (UK), TU Delft (NL), Architectural Association (UK), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (HU), Sapienza Universitá di Roma (IT), Technical University of Munich (DE), Aalto University (FI) e IUAV de Venecia (IT). Su propuesta pedagógica ha recibido reconocimientos internacionales como el Premio de Innovación Docente JIU 2011 o el Concurso Powering Transformation SB 14.

PhD Architect (UEM 2013), his research focuses on the requirements of ecology on architectural and urban design, discussing accepted conventions as energy efficiency. Scientific Committee Member of Congresses such as JIU 2012, CONAMA 2012, 2014 IFOU, Dual ESNE 2015, JIDA 2016 and has been shortlisted by the European program Horizon 2020 as a scientific evaluator.

 

Working independently since 2002, her architect works have received recognitions and awards as the 1st prize for Housing Competition IVIMA Berrocales (ES 2007), runner up at housing competition EMV Ensanche de Vallecas (ES 2009), 1st prize at Parco della Memoria, San Giuliano de Puglia (IT 2007) and 1st prize at urban ideas competition Europan 8 (IT 2006).

 

Associate Professor at Polytechnic University of Madrid she has qualified Teacher Status since 2015. She has taught and lectured at diverse universities such as IE School of Architecture; Syracuse University (US), University of Nottingham (UK), TU Delft (NL), Architectural Association (UK), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (HU), Sapienza Universita di Roma (IT) Technical University of Munich (DE), Aalto University (FI) and IUAV of Venice (IT). Her pedagogical proposal has received international recognitions as the Teaching Innovation Award Competition JIU 2011 or runner up at World Sustainable Building SB14 Powering Transformation.
